Contaminated Yard Waste
When yard waste arrives to the landfill it is separated from everything else, then stockpiled to be ground and shredded. When yard waste becomes contaminated it is mixed with unacceptable items such as, feed bags, nursery pots, cardboard, paper, and other miscellaneous household trash.
When these items are mixed with the yard waste; it now becomes trash and has to be pulled from the yard waste area to be buried at the landfill.
